Wines produced in vintage 2010 are noteworthy for their finesse and elegance. Rich blackcurrant fruit nose with some notes of spice, cedar and balsamic vinegar. The palate has noticeable oak influence but also some elegance. Rich, spicy and a bit toasty. Almost like a Bordeaux take on Valpolicella.
La Poja Vineyard is located in sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella since 1979. Clayey and Chalky soil.

Allegrini's winemaking philosophy is largely based on the concept of "cru" production: a single vineyard dedicated to the production of local varieties destined to become a single wine. These crus have been a success worldwide: The Palazzo della Torre, La Grola and La Poja have set the highest benchmarks for Valpolicella's wines.
