This wine has a vibrant, ruby red hue. Licorice, bing cherry and tar notes mark this intense, chewy red, packed with sweet fruit mid-palate that offsets the dense, dusty tannins. this Barolo shows fine integration and length, with the after taste echoing licorice, cherry, tar and mineral details.
24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, 70% of these were new oak 30% used and for 12 months in stainless steel before bottling.
15 days then 50% of them extended for 25 days as a submerged cap.
