Cantina di Villa Valtellina Rosso DOC 2006
Its ruby red color is bright with aging takes on garnet. The aroma is intense, fine and persistent, with fruity notes of cherry and spicy notes reminiscent of violets. The taste is dry, soft and cool enough, with a slightly tannic aftertaste. In the year following the harvest will be medium-bodied, while if left to age--for two to a maximum of six years--will have more structured taste and character. Variable by nature, Rosso di Valtelina is a wine that thanks to its territory is already able to express itself in the first year following production, but it improves its quality after 2-3 years of refinement in bottle.
