A Simple Summer Red Wine Right Under Your Nose Valpolicella had Hollywood cachet in the ’50s and ’60s. Today, many people haven’t even tasted it yet. Yet some of the region’s basic reds are a terrific summer quaff: uncomplicated, pleasurable, and reasonable. Due to the fresh characteristic of this wine it is brought to market after a short time.

The fermentation process continues for 8 to 10 days. After clearing through some decanting, the wine is in part stored in steel containers (60%) and in part refined in durmast wood casks for 6-7 months.
