Orders are shipped and delivered on business days (Monday - Friday) only. SHIPPING REGULATIONS - Where does Vino Direct ship wine?
We ship our NON-WINE ITEMS, such as gourmet food, gift certificates and accessories, within the 50 United States of America. We can also provide events and services such wine tasting, Italy tours and mini-courses in all States. We do not ship any items internationally and also cannot ship to US territories or APO/FPO addresses.
We strongly suggest you provide a business address for shipments if you are away from home during the day. Address changes MUST be received by us prior to shipping. If you are unable to sign for your wine package on any of the 3 delivery attempts, the shipper will return your package to the nearest FedEx store. You have the option to have your package held for pick up or reshipped for an additional shipping fee.
Wine may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. By placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years old. When your wine is delivered, the person receiving delivery may be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. Wine will not be delivered to a visibly intoxicated person. (Check our Private Policy for more information or contact email@example.com)
We ship WINE to a number of States. Use our STATE DROP DOWN list at check out. State laws on shipping wine are complex and there are some states that prohibit out-of-state retailers from shipping wine into their state. If we can't ship wine to your selected state our site still provide you with great non-wine items.
There are a few ZIP CODE RESTRICTIONS. Local laws prevent us from shipping to certain zip codes that are considered "dry zip codes" in Alaska, Florida, Idaho and New Hampshire. We do ship to most of the zip codes in these states, but our system will tell you if the zip code you enter is one that is excluded by law at the time the order is placed, after the shipping address and zip code is entered.
In addition, each state imposes limitations on the amount of wine any particular adult may receive by direct shipment, as well as additional taxes and charges that may not otherwise apply in your state. To ensure that you are able to order wine for direct shipment from our website, please consult the specific state requirements for your state. If there is a problem with your order, we will contact you directly.

Shipping and handling rates will vary based on where a package is shipped and the weight of your order. Rates will also change as expedited shipping methods are selected. (Shown in the shopping cart - first page of checkout)

Vino Direct wants you to be satisfied with all purchases made on our site. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (310) 295-7509 / Toll Free (844) 310-0258 and we will do everything we can to make it right.
We require an adult signature in order to deliver alcohol. If you are not available when your package is delivered, our carriers will return the package to our distribution center after 3 delivery attempts. We will contact you when we receive your package. Reshipping is available for an additional shipping fee.
We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged, flawed or that the customer finds unsatisfactory. We ask the customer return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or flawed. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. When returning wine or merchandise, please repack it in the original box and packing materials it was shipped in. If you have already discarded the materials, please ensure wine and merchandise is carefully packed and protected from breakage. If returned product has not been carefully packed and arrives damaged, the return or exchange may be affected.
Please do not return any wine to Vino Direct unless you have been given prior, written confirmation to return it. We are not responsible for wines returned without prior, written authorization.
Once the wine is received we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all canceled orders.

WINE CLUB RATES
Wine Clubs are shipped differently than other Vino Direct orders. Prepaid clubs include the cost of shipping in the initial charge. The delivery dates are based on each club set up and cannot be customized. Only standard shipping is available for Wine Clubs. SPECIAL WEATHER NOTE
If there is additional information you want to know about our Shipping procedures that you do not see here please contact us at Please note that it's your responsibility to know the weather conditions in your area when you order wine to be shipped to you. If it's too hot or cold in your region when you place your order, we'll be happy to hold your wine until conditions are right for you to have it shipped. We offer this service at no additional charge and will hold it for up to six months. To notify us of your request, simply put a note in the Special Shipping Instructions at checkout or reply to your order email confirmation. If you want your wines immediately, consider using 2-day.

HOT WEATHER ADVISORY
During hot weather (85 degrees or above), we will hold back wine orders designated to FedEx Ground shipping, as the heat may compromise the integrity of fine wine. Ground shipments to the Midwest and East Coast travel a route through the southwest, so even though temperatures in your area may be cool, we must take into consideration the states your shipment will travel through. FOR ALL CAVIAR PRODUCTS
All Caviar products qualify for Free shipping for all orders, if you buy 2 or more you will receive 10% discount. Please note: Caviar is a delicate and perishable product. The products will be delivered in a Styrofoam box package with ice packs. Temperature is guaranteed for 36-40 hours. We strongly suggest you provide a business address for shipments if you are away from home during the day. Allow one to two business days before shipment. Shipments are made Monday through Thursday only. (No weekends or holidays.) Calvisius Caviar is packed upon order. If your request is submitted by 11am, it will be delivered in 24 hours within the continental United States. During checkout process, you can choose to require a signature proof at the moment of the delivery. Please notice that if nobody will be able to accept the delivery, the package will be returned to FedEx office. You will receive a FedEx tracking within 4 hours after the product shipped from our warehouse. We CANNOT control the delivery after caviar has been shipped. Even if we work in close contact with FedEx, deliveries may be affected by weather conditions, excessive shipping volumes nationwide and other issues. If you are ordering for a special occasion, Calvisius recommends to order your caviar at least 7 days before the expected day. All merchandise is guaranteed to be fresh. Caviar should be inspected immediately upon arrival and refrigerated straightaway. Vacuum-packed product lasts up to 90 days in a regular refrigerator (36-38F).
