Amarone DOCG Paverno 2012
Produce in the vineyards owned by the Vaona family, located on the hills of the historic region of production, charachterized by alluvial soil on calcareous basalts and favored by an excellent exposure.
Corvina 40%, Corvinone 30%, Rondinella 25%, Molinara 5%. Age of the vineyard 25 years at least.
Vaona Paverno Vineyard
The Amarone classico DOC Vaona wine is refined in mid-size durmast wood barrels 12.5 hectoliters for 18 months and an additional period of 5 months in bottles.
Upon maturation the grapes are selected and placed in small wooden boxes, where a traditional withering of over 3 months follows.
