Nigredo is a tale of passion and emotion: a starry night, a street in the making, a research that continues. The wine has a ruby red color and nuances of garnet red with moderate transparency. The nose mainly denotes fruit aromas such as black cherry, plum, and ripe fruit as well as hints of vanilla. In the mouth is intense and has good body, with tannins well balanced by alcohol. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum. The native grape variety with its mysterious origins expresses itself best only in the terroirs between Gioia del Colle and Acquaviva delle Fonti. In these lands Primitivo expresses its precise personality, rich and armonic, Chiaromonte knows how to highlight all of this!
