Prachiosso Roero Nebbiolo 2011
Deep ruby red color. Fine and elegant nose recalling roses, with hints of raspberry, strawberry and spices. The taste is warm and enveloping, with a delicate tannins. The aftertaste is very broad, reminiscent of small red fruits, undergrowth, and closes with pleasant notes of vanilla and roasting.
Prachiosso - Roero DOCG
22 months in wood, 50% oak barrels and 50% used barrels, and then 5 months in bottles.
Traditional floating cap maceration: for 18 days cryomaceration for 8-10 hours.
Serving Temperature: 60-68° F
Soil: calcareous - sandy
