Ruby red intense color with garnet. The aroma is fruity with hints of black cherry, berry, black pepper and tobacco. The palate is soft and complex with great structure and persistence, it lends itself to ageing. 100% Aglianico. Aglianico is one of Italian oldest autoctonous grapes. Torricino Estate is growing it in altitude, approx 800-900 metrs above sea level. Late harvest, patially dried grapes are just some of the features of this very fruity wine. Medium colored and bodied, with a nice balance of berry and cassis fruit, acidity, with some spiciness and earthiness on the finish.
