In honor of an ancient local tradition grapes are vinified by adding, during fermentation, 10-15% of Nebbiolo grapes from Barbaresco to make the wines softer and enhance their fragrances. The result is surprisingly elegant and complex, on both nose and taste, with all the components well mixed and matched. It's rounded but with the right tannin, elegant and extremely pleasant to drink. Fresh fragrant fruits are mixed with liquorice and roses hints, the acidity is well expressed and it has a very long finish.
