Intense, ruby red Barbera that sets forth a bouquet of ripe fruits with an undercurrent of spices. It is full of flavor with long persistence just as a classic well balanced Barbera d’Asti.The label features a soldier in an old Italian army uniform and the name Battaglione translates as Battalion.
Around 1 year in oak barrel. Longevity media of wine: 6 to 10 year.
Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.
Serving Temperature: 63-64 °F.
Vinification: destemmed and crushed. Thermo-controlled fermentation at a temperature of 82°-85°F. Average time of maceration: 7 days.
