Teresa Raiz Ribolla Gialla 2011 DOC
This is a local vine known and appreciated since the Middle Ages. The area where this wine is most wide-spread (both for the number of cultivated hectares and for ancient tradition) is the one of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. In the last years this wine has been strongly revalued in several markets across the world, becoming one of the most sought-after wines of our region. Ribolla Gialla is a naturally creamy, soft variety, but this expression favors tonic soda aromas and tart lemon candy that help shape a racy and zesty impression overall. Good intense varietal characteristics, showing apple and lemon, developing impressions of mixed-flower honey in maturity.
