After regualtions were imposed forcing Friuli producers to no longer use the name 'Tocai' (long held, local name for Friulano), Le Vigne di Zamò now produces "No Name" as it's replacement! What's in a name, anyway?

The name of the wine refers to the historical roots of Suvereto. Hebo was in fact the name of an Etruscan settlement of ancient origin. Hebo is produced from cabernet sauvignon in conjunction with merlot and sangiovese. 

Almost impenetrable dark red colour, sustained and round with complex notes of liquorice and ripe black cherry, both powerful and classy. Full, ripe, spicy black-skinned fruit on the palate, smooth tannins expose great elegance. Chestnutty fruit long aftertaste

Color: Dark, dense ruby colour.
Nose: Marvellous hints of red fruits and black cherries.
Palate: The palate is very concentrated, powerful, and warm.

Intense ruby red in color. The nose is powerful with balsamic eucalyptus tones and ripe red fruit aromas. The wine is elegant and sharp with soft tannins. Excellent persistence smell taste. A cru of merlot that reflects the terroir of Brolio.

Enveloping mouth of great elegance, this is the result of the crisp and mature tannins, which lead to a sapid and overwhelming ending.
